By car

From the Autostrada dei Laghi motorway in the direction of Gravellona Toce, exit at Carpugnino or Baveno-Stresa.
In town you can park in Stresa in Piazza Marconi or in the Carciano yard, in Baveno in Piazza Marinai d’Italia or Piazza IV Novembre.

By train

Ferrovie dello Stato railway, Milan-Sempione line, Stresa stop. The station is around 850 m from Piazza Marconi.
With Ferrovie Nord railway, Milan-Laveno line, Laveno stop.

By bus

VB Arona Milan line: departure from Milan Lampugnano, stop B5.
Or Verbania–Stresa–Malpensa, which requires advance booking.

By ferry

The boats depart from the main locations on the lake, with the most frequent trips from Stresa, Baveno, Pallanza, Intra.
For further information: Navigazione Lago Maggiore – scheduled passenger service.
A non-scheduled passenger service by motorboat is also available.
The two islands are about 25 minutes by scheduled boat and 10 minutes by non-scheduled service.

Distance from the principal airports: Turin Caselle 140 km – Milan Malpensa 50 km – Milan Linate 110 km – Bergamo Orio Al Serio 130 km.

From the Autostrada dei Laghi motorway in the direction of Gravellona Toce, Carpugnino exit, following the signs for Stresa.
A free car park is available in the proximity of the entrance to the Park.

By train

Ferrovia dello Stato railway, Milan-Sempione line, Stresa stop. Stresa station is located 2km on foot from the Parco Pallavicino.
With Ferrovie Nord railway, Milan-Laveno line, Laveno stop.

By bus

VB Arona Milan line: departure from Milan Lampugnano, stop B5.

Autostrada dei Laghi motorway in the direction of Gravellona Toce, Sesto Calende exit, continuing along A-road SS 629 in the direction of Angera, where access to the Rocca is facilitated by the road signs for tourists.
A free car park is available opposite the entrance to the Rocca.
The Rocca di Angera is 45 minutes far from Isole Borromee and Parco Pallavicino by car.

By train + ferry

Ferrovie dello Stato railway, Milan-Sempione line, Arona stop. The boat for Angera leaves from here. The Rocca can be reached on foot along a panoramic route uphill that takes around 15 minutes.

For further information: Navigazione Lago Maggiore – scheduled passenger service. Also available is a non-scheduled passenger service by motorboat.

By plane
